I actually took exercise class using trx, I never had a better workout than this. The trainer had us doing all sorts of pushups,leglifts,stretches, I can go on. I really felt my body had a great workout. I would recommend this to everyone. Its so compact and probably the most powerful workout instrument you can ever get. Its worth every penny!

This does seem ove-rpriced for what it does but it looks fun!To the guy who talked about using your own body weight for free, i agree but if you can’t do a single pushup, you are going to get frustrated. Yes a real pushup provides more resistance ie weight but the suspension thing takes away some of that resistance making repitition possible thus increasing range of mostion not to mention pride which is so important in continuing a workout regimen. I dont want to do a work out that is too hard and i will quit. I am not an excercise novice either i am a retired professional dancer. this device and the creativity in workouts looks promising i would try it as a class at my gym

I was given one of these as a gift and after wearing it for only four months the band on the bracelet broke into. I contacted the company and even sent them photos of the band. Their response was that you have a 60 day time limit to get your money back but you have to have the receipt. They should have replaced it but they did not offer to do so. Not sure if it actually ever did anthing or not. Poor customer service.

This piece of junk lasted all of 2 days before it quit rolling “down”. You can tell the design and workmanship of this worthless thing is pure Indonesia sweat shop. No durability whatsoever. I remember Logitech made one of these years ago and it worked fine forever. This thing obviously copied their design with none of the quality. Wouldn’t give 3 cents for it. Cost me $18 with shipping. What a piece of junk….Don’t Buy This!!!!!

this is a very good product that is very handy, but the ball is so smooth that doesnt move the mouse sometimes. i had to sand the ball to make it a little rough so it can move the inside wheel, but hey it works perfectly now.

Purchased the Gazelle Edge, like the machine, but it is painful on the toes, honestly it hurts to use this machine. I would not recommend this product to anyone and really do not understand why there has not be a recall or a fix for the problems.

The 7 workouts included on this DVD are very good. They will definitely increase your body temperature if you put the effort into them that JB asks, however you won't come away sweaty like you've just had a hard workout at a gym. The only equipment required other than your own body is a chair, either for balance or for sitting in a few of the exercises (a couch works too), and something to lay/sit on for the stretching segment if that's what you prefer.

JB Berns is motivating and he reminds you to always keep your abs tight without beating you up about it. A reminder is good when you're concentrating on another area of the body.

Two things I would improve if this DVD were to be made again, however they don't detract from the overall workouts: 1) Have the intro segments as a separate menu section rather than as track one in each workout (which can be skipped past to get straight to the workout). This would be a change to make it like the Urban Rebounder dvds and the way they're setup. 2) During the intro show on either himself or an assistant exactly what area in the muscle you're working that you should feel the exercise in. That would be helpful to know if you're doing it correctly.

The 15 minute time for each workout is decieving, however I had forgotten that NO workout dvd ever includes the warm-up/cool-down portion in the time allotted. The back and stretching workouts really are 15 minutes including warm-up/cool-down. The other 5 are realistically from 20-25 minutes in length. Rating: 5 / 5

The workouts are excelent for what they do. I wish the dvd was setup so you could customize your own workout by linking segments together for times when you have more time to workout. Other than that I am completely pleased with the workouts. Jb is a little on the cheesy side. but a good motivator while your body is screaming at you.

I have no idea why this mat got such a high review. I bought it because everyone on here seemed to be raving about it. I have tried everything–washing it (multiple times), drying it in the sun, scrubbing down with vinegar, trying to take it to class to ‘break it in’, and I still slide all over the place. What it comes down to is that I’ll have to buy a new, different mat. What a waste of money and time trying to break it in. DO NOT purchase!!!

My cheap old mat was falling apart so I started researching for a new one. After looking at mats in all different price categories, I decided that this was the mat for me. It shipped to me lightning fast and I followed the directions and scrubbed it down with some detergent and let it air out in the sun for a few days. I then tried it out at home and was very pleased with the mat, no slipping, good length and it felt cushy. I was really happy with my purchase and pumped about taking it to my yoga class.

Well, last night was yoga class and I regretted my purchase within the first 5 minutes. At home I used the mat on carpet, so of course it felt cushy. On the hardwood floor in class, I noticed that the mat compressed down to the equivalent of a thin piece of cloth where ever my body weight was. You could even see dents in the mat where I sat or stood. I felt like I was directly on the wood floor. The sciatica that I have never had a problem with in yoga class flared up immediately and by the end of class I was having problems moving around. I also have bulging lumbar discs in my back and on the car ride home I could feel pain radiating from my back down to my lower calf, I haven't had back pain this bad in years!

When I got home, I pinched the mat and found that it compressed almost completely flat between my fingers; I tried the same test on my cheap (much thinner) mat and found that it did not compress much at all. Comparing the two, the thinner cheap mat was actually thicker than this mat!

In a strenuous yoga class I may experience slight back pain, on either the studio mat or my old cheap mat, but nothing like what happened last night (and last night's class was NOT strenuous). I guess this mat will be for on-carpet use only and I'll continue my quest for a new mat. Rating: 1 / 5

i bought this for my dad for father’s day. he loves the idea of it. someone mentioned that it can be used indoors, but that’s not technically true. the golf net is so big its an eye sore in the middle of the living room. for indoor use, you would need a wide open space. unfortunately, my mom won’t allow my dad to swing his golf clubs indoors so the net has been packed away. it was a good gift idea, but my dad would rather go to the range instead of using the net in the backyard.

for outdoor use it would be just fine.

While I love the looks, size and thickness of this mat, it's not sticky at all. I don't even practice hot yoga, yet every time I've taken this mat to a class, my experience was ruined by slipping during most of the poses. I've tried all the techniques suggested by the mfgr for breaking this mat it, to no avail. I'm not going to resort to using resin when I practice since there are plenty of mats out there that don't have this problem.

This mat was REALLY slick…too slick to do yoga on. It came with instructions to make it less slick, suggesting to wash it in hot water. That did nothing, as did the rest of the steps. I rubbed rosin on it, which also had no effect. It’s totally useless. I wish I’d bought a mat from Hugger Mugger.

i am never picky about anything, but why is this mat rated SO HIGH???
the only thing special about this mat is that it is a bit longer than the rest, but THAT IS IT!

the mat STILL stunk when i opened it.
It is NOT "Ultra Thick" as advertised. I still feel the tiles on the floor.
It is not even cheap!

I figured regular price $50 and on sale for $30 seemed like a good deal. But i seen equal quality at walmart for $20....

too bad amazon doesnt sell the "praxis" mat i bought from overstock...
maybe i'll make that request now!

I’m a beginner who wanted to practice at home. I bought air flow balls and started practicing on my rug at home, the sound was terrible and I felt like I was breaking my floor. This mat’s quality is very close to mats I’m hitting at the range. I’m not afraid of hitting my floor anymore because the mat is thick and protects the floor very well. I’m using it every day for the past month and a half approximately 150 shots per day and it still looks like new. It comes with 3 rubber tees and 2 balls. The balls that come with the mat are too heavy to use at home.

This watch will time intervals of any work time, rest time, and total interval count you choose.

If you like the Tabata Interval this watch is priceless. If you have workouts wrapped around different rest/work ratios this stopwatch is amazing.

This watch has a countdown for the work interval and the rest interval distinct from the chime for the end and beginning of the work and rest interval so that it can be used hands free and without looking at the watch to time your intervals.

Once you've used this watch to time your interval workouts, any other timing method (like having to actually WATCH the clock) seems unnecessarily cumbersome.

If you do any kind of interval workout at all, this stopwatch is worth the money. If your workouts aren't very complex, you could get by with a much cheaper stopwatch. Rating: 5 / 5

I purchased this shirt for running. The long sleeve will keep my arms from getting too tanned. This shirt is very comfortable and the feel is great. The material seems to transfer the sweat away from the body similar to Nike dry-fit shirts. The price is much more affordable compared to other, more expensive brands. I am waiting for some lighter colors to be available because running in the summertime with a dark blue or black shirt is a little too warm for me.

But something at least that I missed, the band weights are:2-5 lbs, 5-8 lbs, 8-12lbs, 11-16 lbs, and 16-20 lbs. Which is great for people who have small muscles. Women rather firm than bulk.

Great price, but not what i wanted.

It may seem a little premature to rate this product, since I have had it for just about a week. For this reason I cannot, at this time, know how durable the bands will be. On the other hand, I can safely say that the set seems to be very well built, with comrfortable handles attached to each band (believe me, having to switch handles during your exercise routine is not fun!). The bands also clearly show their different “weight” when I switch from one color to another. I have being using the bands daily and so far I am very happy with them. I definetely recommend this product and I will update this review if I have any more relevant information to add.

the shirt i bought wicks moisture away well enough, even performed ok in the heat. although it isnt the best thing for 80 & 90 degree weather, which is what i used it in outdoors. id say 70s top. moisture wicking only goes so far, u still feel sticky under there after a while.

i soaked it in the washing machine after thee first use, and didnt even allow the washer to clean it…i dunked & swished it around by hand, then held it up by the top with one hand, and squeeze dried it down to the bottom—no twisting at all. i repeated this after the 2nd use & noticed a the stitching coming loose near the neck.

I had been running trails in my running shoes (Asics Gel Nimbus 11) and didn’t see that much difference in the tread pattern with the trail runners to warrant another purchase, but was wrong. It’s been a very wet, slippery and muddy winter causing many slips and some falls. Doing one very wet, slippery adventure race convinced me that any improvement in traction would be worth it. Preventing one fall with injury easily justifies the cost of a pair of shoes. The increased traction and stability provided with the GT-2150s is incredible and I’m running with more confidence. Great shoes. Now if it would stop raining so much.

The delivery was prompt and everything was packaged nicely. Unfortunately, the bands are not very strong. There are five, but the difference in resistance between each one is negligible. They would be good for someone who is just starting out, or who only trains once a week. If you’re a serious trainer and you’re looking for something to use while you travel, I’d recommend paying a little bit more for a more heavy duty set.

I have several uses for a stopwatch, the primary one is that of coach. I (and my stopwatch) have to travel a fair amount. The last several stopwatches that I have owned have fallen apart in a relatively short period of time. The main problem is the buttons falling off. I decided to try the Seiko S057. So far, it has been both dependable and durable. I have used most of the functions without a hitch, including the memory/recall function. You can access stored times while timing an event which is handy. I have only had the watch. for 6 weeks, so please take the durability comment with a grain of salt. The Sieko feels more solid than other, cheaper stopwatches on the market. I will update this comment if I have any mechanical issues with the watch (especially the longevity of the buttons).

Extra room in the toe box and a closer fit in the heel fixes the problems I had with the 2140. I recommend a half-size larger if you do long distances to allow for swelling feet (maybe one size larger for some). Good socks are a must, as for any shoe. The laces are flat and stay tied unlike the round laces on the 2140. The sole is sufficiently padded for the road and the support is good for the trail–a good all-around shoe. Many shoes that are “good for both trail and road” are actually so-so for both. I plan to buy another pair to alternate with.
